DEILCIUOS SOUR CHERRY ICE CREAM
This delightful treat is guaranteed to bring joy to everyone gathered.
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 jar (10 oz) Persian Pantry Sour Cherry Jam
- 6 waffle cones, roughly crushed
Directions
- Use a hand mixer or a stand mixer with a whisk attachment to whip the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks (approximately 3-4 minutes). Be careful not to over-whip.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture using a spatula until it’s smooth and airy.
- Add half of the Persian Pantry Sour Cherry Jam into the ice cream mixture and fold it in gently.
- Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Pour one-third of the ice cream mixture into the pan.
- Drop spoonful’s of the Sour Cherry Fruit Spread onto the ice cream layer and sprinkle generously with the crushed waffle cone pieces. Swirl lightly for a marbled effect.
- Repeat the layering process, alternating ice cream mixture, fruit spread, and waffle cone crumbles, ending with a swirl of fruit spread and cone crumbles on top.
- Freeze the prepared ice cream for at least 8 hours until it’s fully set. Once frozen, scoop and serve this delightful homemade treat!
