INDULGE IN A SLICE OF PURE CITRUS DELIGHT!

This Orange Marmalade Cake, with its zesty allure and heavenly aroma, is more than just a dessert—it's a flavorful escape from the ordinary.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 2/3 cup cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 100 grams butter
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Directions

  • Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes until the cake is fully cooked. Once cooled, cut the cake into desired portions and serve. Enjoy!
  • Before preparing the Orange Marmalade Cake, allow all ingredients to reach room temperature in the kitchen for about 30 minutes.
  • Beat softened butter with sugar until creamy for about 2 minutes.
  • Add oil to the butter mixture and beat for another 5 minutes until the mixture turns pale and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time to the mixture and beat each for 1 minute. Once well combined, add vanilla extract, followed by milk, and beat until smooth. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Combine flour, cornstarch, and baking powder, sift together, and gently fold into the wet mixture until the Orange Marmalade Cake batter is smooth.
  • Choose a rectangular baking pan, line it with parchment paper, and pour the cake batter into it. Tap the pan on a flat surface a few times to release any air bubbles in the mixture. Then pour Persian Pantry’s zesty Orange Marmalade over the batter, scattering it evenly. Use a wooden skewer to swirl the marmalade.
  • Freeze the prepared ice cream for at least 8 hours until it’s fully set. Once frozen, scoop and serve this delightful homemade treat!
